Alice Gunderson has devoted over 20 years to coaching.
Her journey began at a young age when she decided to become a teacher. She pursued Education at the University of Saskatchewan, earning her Bachelor of Education degree.
Alice enjoyed a long and successful career in teaching and coaching, impacting the lives of many students and athletes. After retiring, she felt a strong desire to continue helping others, focusing her efforts on a cause deeply personal to her.
As a grandmother to a grandson with autism, Alice has a profound understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals with autism. She knows that within her grandson lies a person who seeks acceptance, love, appreciation, and respect. This personal connection fuels Alice’s dedication to making a meaningful difference in the autistic community.
Recently, a 5-year research study was published, highlighting significant improvements for those with autism, concussion, and dementia. This development has provided numerous successful testimonials, which Alice has read and noted.
Alice’s favorite saying, “Dig the well… before you need the water,” reflects her belief in the importance of preparation and foresight. Her mission is to unlock the potential of individuals with brain injury.
